During late July and August, when the water
was low, we would wade to the rocks and cast 1/8 oz Gold, Dressed Panther
Martins upstream. A tense line was held as the current swept the spinner
downstream. When the arc was completed, a steady retrieve brought it home
and the cycle was repeated.
Smallmouths, Red Eyes, Bream, and an occasional Channel Cat were the rewards.Darris Moore
